Chemical-free residential weed control
Hand pulling is organic weed control in its simplest form: no herbicide, no residue, and nothing to keep the dog or the kids off of afterward.

Overview
Residential weed control usually means a spray truck and a keep-off-the-grass flag. Our weed control service works the other way: every weed is pulled by hand, root and all, so there’s nothing to drift, nothing to run off, and nothing to wait out.
We don’t carry an organic certification, and we don’t need one — nothing is applied to your yard at all. That makes it pet-safe weed control in the plainest sense: dogs, kids, bees and the neighbor’s vegetable garden are never exposed to anything.
Problems we solve
No keep-off period. The yard is ready the moment your weeder leaves.
No herbicide for bees to land on and none to drift into the vegetable bed next door.
Nothing to wash into storm drains and canals or onto the neighbor’s lawn.
Sprays often brown the leaves and leave the root. Pulling removes the whole plant.
Our process
Pets, plants and play areas: we plan around them from the first visit.
Gloves and hand tools only. Root and all.
Weeds and seed heads are taken away so they can’t reseed.
Weekly pulling wears down the seed bank without ever applying a chemical.

FAQ
There’s nothing applied to your yard, so yes in the everyday sense of the word. We don’t hold an organic certification, because there’s no product to certify.
Yes. With no sprays, there’s no wait. Dogs and kids can use the yard as soon as your weeder leaves.
Many weed control services mean spraying. A weed pulling service removes the plant by hand. That’s what we do, so you get the control without the chemicals.
Some will, which is why weekly visits work: new weeds come out while they’re small, so the seed in your soil runs down over time.
